“Andy Serra has written a meticulously researched account of the rescue and recovery operations at Ground Zero. His own experiences at the World Trade Center provide the underlying narrative that takes the reader to the “pile,” seeing and experiencing the unfolding disaster as he lived it. I highly recommend the book to both the public and emergency responder communities who will find it a riveting page turner.” Glenn Corbett, Associate Professor of Fire Science, John Jay College of Criminal Justice, City University of New York
“You really have to pick up the book.” Sukanya Krishnan, Fox5 TV, NY
